This is a one day course

What we will cover:

• The mandatory requirements of M4(1) - visitable dwellings, and an assessment of the guidance within AD M Volume 1.
• Assessment of the guidance relating to optional requirements stipulated in AD M Volume 1 relating to M4(2) - accessible and adaptable dwellings, and M4(3) - wheelchair user dwellings.
• We will examine the requirements for access to dwellings, including buildings containing flats, as well as any related external works.
• The various guidance on the design of interior layouts, including: corridors, internal doors, cloakroom, bathroom, bedroom and kitchen layouts.
• Evaluation of works necessary for the future adaptation of dwellings for both category 2 and category 3 dwellings.
